A Trip Around the World in Kaiser’s Library

On Nov. 9, the International Club hosted their third Travel Blog Night,a social in which students learn about various cultures. “We wanted to increase cultural awareness and make people more interested in different cultures and countries,” said senior and Vice President Chae Yeon Hwang. Countries featured at the event were Turkey, France, Singapore,South Korea, Mexico, China, Colombia, Japan, and India, each represented by students from International Club, Spanish Club, Chinese Club, andJapanese Club. Representatives shared food, clothing, games, and decorations from various cultures belonging to the different countries. Twelve members of the KPOP club also performed dance routines to songs likeOh My! by Seventeen, Boss by NCT U, and What is Love by Twice. EmilyRamirez Miranda performed two Mexican dances, “La Bruja” and “Jarabe Tapatio,” and Moana Glassco played the guitar and sang Youth byDaughter and Real Friends by Camila Cabello.
